It’s been a while since I last wrote, and quite a bit has happened since then. My ACL surgery was on December 9th, and the slow and steady rehab process has followed. Recovery has been challenging, but I am improving little by little. I look forward to getting back to my passion—working with both people and animals as a physio and veterinary physio. It’s something that truly fulfils me.
The next few months feel like a new chapter waiting to unfold, not just for me but for my family as well. Over six months ago, we made a big move to one of the most breath-taking spots in New Zealand. Every day, I wake up feeling incredibly grateful for the stunning scenery, the presence of my family, and the animals that bring so much joy to my life. Nature has a special way of grounding us, and this summer, the lakes, rivers, and swimming holes available to us have been nothing short of amazing.
When times are tough, I find that reflection is key. Gratitude can shift our perspective, helping us see what truly makes us happy. It also allows us to acknowledge the power of forgiveness—not just for others, but for ourselves—so that we can continue moving forward.
Lately, I’ve been reading A New Earth by Eckhart Tolle, and it has been an eye-opening experience. I used to think enlightenment was a singular moment, but I now understand that it’s a continuous journey. The more open we remain, the more we grow. Over the past few months, I’ve had the privilege of meeting some truly incredible souls, and I am excited to continue my journey with them by my side.
Life, with all its ups and downs, continues to unfold beautifully. Here’s to healing, growth, and embracing the path ahead.
